How can I make myself a better person?
Volunteer advocates needed
West Island Citizen Advocacy is a Centraide/WICS community organization which matches volunteer citizen advocates with people suffering from a handicapping condition.
A New Year has arrived and with it New Year’s resolutions. We ask ourselves: How can I make myself a better person? One idea might be to volunteer your time to assist someone in your community who really needs your help. Maybe it’s someone who lives alone and just needs a friend to chat with on the phone or go on outings with once an a while, or maybe there’s someone who needs help running the daily errands we take for granted. The following are just a few examples of people who could really benefit from your help.
